On the 14th of May, we finally had our live show of NET TV. All that preparation and hard work and the result of a whole 12 minute show.
Our time slot was 3-5pm, and we immediately got everything prepared so we could just go in and start setting up. We brought the sofa’s outside, the performers were here on time and most of the sound kit was booked and collected. Though the nerves were definitely evident.
As soon as we went in, it was mayhem, everyone was busy setting up and running around (in a good way, as people were actually doing something for a change).
Anyway, we finally set up and we got cracking. In the three takes, the last one was our best. However, undeniably there were a few mistakes. Now of course the video below is an un-edited one, as we are not allowed to edit it. However, looking at the fact that we did in 12 minutes, I think we did a pretty good job. I was in charge of producing, the autocue and assisted with the set.
It’s been a very busy and tough module, but I have learnt a lot, especially different aspects of the TV studio.
